Dating to 1994-1995, this example appears to be the ST57-53 model which is composed of a basswood body with maple neck. Under the hood, this example appears to retain the original ceramic pickups, with the volume pot having been replaced. This example has also had a saddle replaced. A look inside the neck pocket reveals the stamp 'order Y-165' indicating a custom order model. We suspect this might have to do with the fact that this example is finished in a three-tone as opposed to the standard two-tone sunburst. A very cool example and not often seen!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCosmetic condition is good showing dings, scratches, and play wear throughout. The single ply pickguard shows signs of warping. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action.
