The American Ultra series takes Fenders classic silhouettes and brings in a wide range of modern appointments, specifically curated for the modern and demanding player.
Featured in a gorgeous Arctic Pearl finish, this example features Fenders ‘Modern D’ neck profile with a 10-14” compound radius for an effortless playing experience. Ultra Noiseless Vintage Tele pickups provide a massive tonal variety, and the inclusion of sculpted rear contours makes this perhaps one of the most comfortable Telecasters in Fenders range. Other features of note include locking tuners and a bone nut.
This example is nice and balanced in hand, with just the right amount of weight. The S-1 switching offers selection between series or parallel wiring for a wide variety of tones, which is very fun. The Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups provide a great deal of clarity, but without the trappings of traditional Tele style pickups.
At some point, there has been some lovely bird stickers added to the pickguard. Easily removed if that's not your style!
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes original hardshell case.
