TONECAT pedals are designed and hand-built in Melbourne, by a small independent workshop that started as a father-and-daughter project in 2025. Replay Guitars is one of a handful of stockists carrying the range in Australia.

What sets TONECAT apart is the artwork: every pedal is built around its own hand-illustrated cat character, complete with a name and backstory, so no two models in the range look or sound quite the same. Underneath that, the circuits are tuned by ear and span overdrive, fuzz, distortion and boost, with several models built on classic topologies such as Klon-style mid-boost, Fuzz Face-style silicon fuzz, RAT-style distortion and Big Muff-style fuzz.

Builds are small-batch and limited-run, so specific characters and finishes come and go as stock allows.
