A killer parlor from the '30s!

We love to see these old cowboy guitars when they show up, with this being a particularly special example. The Richter company existed between 1920 to 1943 and made instruments in Chicago, to a similar level of build quality compared to the Kay and Harmony models of the time. These 'Home on the Range' guitars were made in the late 1930s, and are composed of birch bodies. Quite a pronounced 'V' neck profile which feels great in hand. This example retains vivid stencilling which is always great to see on an instrument this old. Unique to this example is a full x-brace conversion, which greatly improves the tonal response. This one has had the bridge and saddle replaced, in addition to the nut. Looks to be original tuners. A great strummer with immense vintage character!

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, retaining vivid stencilling in addition to finish wear, scratches, dings, and signs of repair. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes an older hardcase.
