1960s Watkins Espana EL-30 Sunburst

A super cool guitar from UK manufacturer, Watkins!

Perhaps best known for their ubiquitous P.A. systems or the mighty Copicat Tape Delay, Watkins were at a time one of the most prominent manufacturers of musical equipment in the UK. Extending to guitars as well, they produced some interesting models, with this US export model being a great example. Branded 'Espana' for the US market, this model is virtually the same as the Watkins Emerald. A solid body, bolt-on neck model, this one has seen modification to include a set of great sounding P90 pickups from Jon Shubb. If you're looking for something a little different, this is a killer option!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing signs of wear all throughout in the form of dings, scratches, and finish checking. Top two way selector doesn't appear to do anything to the sound. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case or gig bag included.
