Chet would certainly be proud of this great Tennessean from '62!

These super fun models, notably played by George Harrison, are a great entry point into vintage Gretsch. Made in collaboration with legendary picker, Chet Atkins, the Tennessean featured the Electrotone hollowbody design with painted on f-holes. What is most interesting about these are the HiLo 'Tron pickups, which have a unique tone of their own, with a lower output than comparable Filter 'Trons. The original Gretsch Bigsby is here, as are the very cool 'G Arrow' knobs.

This particular example has had a couple of swaps, with the original parts retained. The rocking bar bridge has been replaced with an adjusto-matic as well as the original tuning machines being swapped out for a set of Schaller vintage open back tuners.

Cosmetic condition is quite good throughout, with the expected wear of an instrument this old. Most of the wear is concentrated on the neck, as well as some wear present on the back. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original hard case.
