Most famously seeing use by The Beatles during their formative years, the Hofner Club 40 is a compact hollow body archtop instrument, with this example being a later model dating to 1962.
This example is missing a pickguard, and at some point has had the original plate and circuit removed to make way for a more conventional volume and tone control layout. Sounds lovely and warm, with just the right amount of cut. Throw some flats on it and you have a super fun, compact jazz box!
Hardware is fully functional, and plays beautifully with a low-medium action. Includes hard case.
