An absolutely stunning example of a early 1963 L Series Stratocaster!
It’s rare to find such extensive case candy with examples of Pre-CBS instruments these days. This guitar comes with its original hang tag, polish cloth, lead, and even the original sales receipts! Including deposit payments!
Other than a bit of case rash where the finish had worn off at a period during its lifetime, this guitar has been loved and well looked after.
The decal is clean and presents beautifully.
The guitar currently has a replacement pick-guard that was installed by the previous owner, yet the original is in excellent condition without cracks and is included in the sale.
As for originality, the instrument is original other than a replaced volume pot, and the original has been retained and is also included in the sale.
