Produced from 1967 until its discontinuation around 1981, the Fender Bronco was Fender's dominant student offering of the time. Similar in shape and scale length as the Musicmaster, Duosonic, and Mustang, the Bronco instead featured a single pickup in the bridge.

This particular example dates to 1968, based off neck heel and serial range, and boasts a beautiful and original Dakota Red finish. Super simple configuration of a lone bridge pickup in tandem with a volume and tone control. This particular example retains its original pickguard, body, neck, vibrato unit, and control knobs. Under the hood, this example retains its original tone pot and capacitor as well as output jack. The volume pot has been replaced with a 500k CTS pot to accomodate the Lace Sensor currently installed.

Tuners have metal buttons instead of the commonly seen plastic buttons. Either the tuners or just the buttons have been replaced. Either way, the tuners appear period correct. This example has had some extra holes drilled for strap pins on the lower bout.

This features a B neck, and is super comfy with a noticeable 7.25" radius. It looks likely this example has had a refret at some stage. Sounds amazing plugged in, with plenty of resonance and spank. Very fun to play!

Cosmetic condition is reasonable for its age, with the expected dings and checking throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original hard case, as well as a period correct black bobbin replacement pickup.
