Vintage '70s Fender coolness, but with 12 strings!
Circa 1969, Fender moved production of their acoustics from California to Japan. The end result was a range of more affordable acoustics produced in a variety of configurations. This example is the F-55-12, which saw manufacture from around 1972 to 1978. Featuring a full size dreadnought body with a laminate construction and 12-strings, the F-55-12 delivers a nicely pronounced and chimey sound with plenty of clarity.
Cosmetically, this example is good condition for its age with the usual light scratching and swirl marks present. The only noticeable ding is visible on the top of the instrument by the bass side lower bout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a non-original hardcase.
