A fascinating example from Fenders history!

Unbeknownst to many, Fender began manufacturing relations in Japan at the start of the 1970s, but with a focus on acoustic instruments. This particular example comes from this period, with a production run spanning 1972 to 1981. Composed of a spruce top with rosewood back and sides, this example is complimented by a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. These examples feature fan type bracing and were more of an introductory model within the catalog. It has a nice sound with a good amount of balance and warmth. 

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, with a medium amount of scratching throughout. Hardware is full functional, and plays with a classical action (approaching 4mm on the low E). No truss rod adjustment, with only a little saddle left. Includes an aftermarket hardcase.
