Here we have a fantastic Gretsch 7555 Clipper, lovingly constructed in 1972!
These Gretsch guitars from the early 1970s give you all the great vintage Gretsch sound and vibe whilst still being relative affordable compared to the rest of the vintage guitar market.
The Clipper was originally introduced with one pickup until it was discontinued in 1972 and replaced with a twin pickup version like the one you see here.
Featuring two classic Hi-Lo Tron pickups, 16" wide and 1 3/4" deep maple ply body, and a beautiful piece of rosewood for the fingerboard. The 7555 originally came with a trapeze tailpiece, but this one comes with a Gretsch branded Bigsby vibrato instead, and in our opinion, nearly every Gretsch should have a Bigsby!
Overall the guitar is in great condition for its age, and plays great.
Also included is the Gretsch hardcase.
