Lennon would be proud of this killer copy from Greco!

Outside of the usual Fender and Gibson inspired models that Greco put out at the time, Greco were also known for their high end copies of another certain US guitar manufacturer. This particular example takes inspiration from the short scale three-pickup model John Lennon famously played early in the Beatles career. This example appears to date to 1979 based off its serial and features a laminated maple body construction in combination with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard featuring a set-neck construction. The original pickups appear to be original, and deliver the signature sound of this model to a tee. A fun player for the Beatles nerd!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age with noticeable dings, scratching, and play wear present all throughout, there's also some finish cracks around the nut at the headstock, which appear to be just in the finish from some headstock flex at some point. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Currently strung with Pyramid Nickel Classics (very retro and Beatles!). Switch has been replaced with a new Switchcraft toggle. Includes a hardcase which includes a couple of accessories, the original owners card, and a letter (apparently from the original owner) written in Japanese.
