1980 Takamine EF340S Dreadnought

A killer example from Takamine's golden years!

The lawsuit era resulted in a tonne of great instruments manufactured in Japan, with the acoustic models Takamine produced being of no exception. Taking direct inspiration from historic Martin models, this example is composed of a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides (ala D18). A great feeling mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard is present, as well as featuring the original piezo pickup with controls for volume and EQ. A super cool player with a direct, mid-focused voice!

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age showing no repairs, and only superficial dings, scratches, and general play wear. Saddle is low but the bridge has plenty of play left in it. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with low-medium action. Includes an aftermarket hardcase.
