Bring the funk with the Casio RZ-1 Drum Machine!
Released in 1986, the RZ-1 was unique when it was offered due to its sampling features which were absent on earlier, analog drum machines. Featuring 12 factory drum sounds, you can easily dial in patterns and control each of the sounds through 10 volume faders. The RZ-1 features a sampling time of 0.8 seconds, far from impressive these days, but still functional given the context of what the RZ-1 is used for. One of these was used for Three Feet High and Rising, the critically lauded release from De La Soul. A very cool piece of retro music tech!
Cosmetic condition is okay with scratches and wear marks to the hardware throughout. Hardware and electronics appear to be functional.
