1980s Fender MIJ JB62-60 Jazz Bass Black

MIJ Jazz Bass goodness!

With an 'E' serial dating it between 1984 and 1987, this example comes from a storied time of Fujigen manufacturing where some of the most desired Japanese-made Fenders have originated from. This example appears to be the JB62-60 model, composed of an alder body with bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Features the standard control layout for all '62 reissue basses as well as a period correct logo and the all important strap pin on the back of the headstock. An examination of the inner neck pocket reveals a penciled in 'FL' next to JBD-62, which appears to have been added after the fact. A great player with plenty of spank!

Cosmetic condition is good, showing minor dings and scratches throughout with some minor hardware tarnishing. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case or gig bag included.
