1980s Pearl Export Deluxe Transparent Red
Sold Out
A fun example from a lesser known name in the world of Japanese guitar manufacturing!
This particular period, according to some forums discussing the history of the brand, appears to be the early 1980s. This example represents one of the higher end offerings, boasting a solid double-cutaway body in tandem with a contoured set neck construction. In many ways reminds us of the Yamaha SG series from around the same time. This example appears to retain its original wiring, with the bridge humbucker having been swapped out for an old Seymour Duncan JBJ. A super fun player with an appropriately chunky neck and exceptional sustain!
Cosmetic condition is excellent for its age with only minor signs of play wear present throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes what appears to be the original hardcase.
