1981 Greco EG500 Super Power Sunburst

A very cool LP from Greco!
At this stage, it's no secret that the models Greco were producing from around '78 to '82 are some of the best reproductions of their American contemporaries. This particular example is from the Super Power line, and dates to 1981. Appearing to be an EG500 model, this example features a mahogany body with maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. This example features chambering, evident when looking into the pickup cavities. Appears to retain what look to be U-1000 pickups from this period. A lovely, full neck and great sound define this killer example from Greco!
Cosmetic condition is good, showing signs of wear in the form of minor dings, scratches, and pick wear. Hardware shows some minor tarnishing, consistent with the age of the instrument. Some of the inlays have started to raise, but otherwise don't impact playability or catch on any strings. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a leather gig bag.
