1981 Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer Overdrive Pro

The holy grail of overdrive pedals!

What can truly be said about the original TS808 that hasn't been said already? Known for its honking mid-range and its ability to push Fender-style amps into sweet overdrive, the TS808 has rightfully become immensely sought after amongst collectors and players alike. This examples serial dates it to 1981, and features the top mounted power supply input, and the fabled JRC4558D chip. Sounds incredible when plugging in a Strat into an already loud amp! 

Cosmetic condition is okay for its age, with some enclosure wear which is quite typical on these. Retains its original battery snap, as well as its back label with serial number. Hardware and electronics are fully functional. No box included.
