An early version of Fenders popular American Deluxe model!
This particular example features the design hallmarks of the first series of American Deluxe guitars, which were released in 1998 and saw production until 2004. Finished in sunburst, this example features an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. These models featured a 9.5" fretboard radius and Fender's 'modern C' neck profile. Early generation Fender Noiseless pickups are present on this example, as is the 2-point tremolo system and lack of S-1 switching, which didn't arrive until the second series. Locking tuners and a LSR roller nut are present. A really cool example from Fenders US line at the time!
Cosmetic condition is reasonable with minor dings and scratching throughout, predominantly found on the back of the instrument. Hardware and electronics are fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a non-original hardcase.
