2000s Guild F47MCE Grand Auditorium Spruce

A great player from an interesting period for US Guilds!

After acquiring Guild in 1995, Fender eventually transitioned production to their Corona, California factory. The result was a period of early 2000s made Guilds before moving to Tacoma, Washington. This particular example, the F47MCE dates to this period and was one of their semi-acoustic, cutaway options. Featuring a solid spruce top in combination with laminated maple sides and a solid maple back, the F47MCE was a dependable US-made offering from the company. Thanks to the more condensed grand auditorium size, these examples feel excellent in hand whilst delivering a present sound. A Fishman Prefix Pro Blend system was featured on board, rounding out a great playing and sounding instrument from this period in Guilds history. 

Cosmetic condition is good with play wear present throughout as well as lacquer checking and minor finish splits. The bridge appears have been shaved down and re-glued at some point in its life. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardcase.
