A cool Epiphone from the Fujigen factory!

Leading into the '70s, Epiphone began manufacturing of a range of their models in Japan, most notably in the Matsumoko factory. This tradition carried forwards decades onward, with this example representing a more recent example. Designated with a F prefix, this example was manufactured in Japan's highly regard Fujigen factory and dates to 2007. This was part of the 'Lacquer Series', which was essentially a range of models featuring a thinner nitrocellulose lacquer finish which for many reasons has become a highly desirable feature on guitars. This particular example is finished in black and features at a lot of the visual cues of early 1960s spec SGs. The neck has fuller profile, and doesn't seem to be as effected by the notorious 'neck dive' that sometimes plagues SGs. The original Fujigen PAF pickups are present, with the internal electronics being overhauled with higher quality parts. A great player and perfect for those wanting something a bit nicer than Epiphones current offerings.

Cosmetic condition is okay with some present scratching, swirl marks, and tarnishing to the hardware. Hardware is fully functional and plays with a low action. No case or gig bag included.
