Does it get more iconic than an Ebony SG Standard?
Dating to 2007, this example is an excellent playing SG Standard. Remaining a consistent model in Gibsons catalog for many years, the SG Standard features the larger pickguard as well as a lightweight mahogany body construction, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. These came loaded with 490R and 490T pickups, and as a result this example absolutely sings and plays beautifully.
Cosmetic condition is reasonable throughout, with the front of the instrument presenting well with just a minor ding by the lower bout of the pick guard. The back has incurred some scratching and pitting of the finish. Minor scratches are present throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original Gibson hardcase.
