2012 Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster Black

A true icon of the instrument, and one of the first to receive a signature model from Fender, the Eric Clapton Artist Series is one hell of a Stratocaster!

This particular version, originally released in 2001, has been the definitive signature version of Clapton's for over 20 years now. This example dating to 2012 is finished in black and features an alder body with maple neck. Unique to these models is the soft 'V' shape neck profile, which is something not found on many contemporary Fender models. A 9.5" fretboard radius is present, as well as Fender Noiseless pickups, and the famed active mid boost knob. As per Claptons request, these examples feature a blocked off tremolo system. This example has had its original guard swapped out for a tortoiseshell example. The original guard is included in the case. A great model for the ardent Clapton fan!

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing minor play wear throughout. There are a smattering of minor indentations on the back of instrument, however none have broken through the poly finish. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes its original hardcase.
