The American Professional superseded the long-time favourite, American Standard series, with an introduction of new colours and features to the range. Standard appointments are present such as an alder body construction, maple neck with 9.5" radius, and a more modern 22 frets. However, the American Professional range added the great sounding V-mod single coils, and a new modern 'Deep C' neck profile. Sonic Grey was also a new finish for this model, which is what this example is finished in.
Nice and balanced weight wise, this delivers everything you'd ever look for in a Stratocaster. There's a good reason these are the 'standard' USA models!
Cosmetic condition is reasonable with some more noticeable scuffing and scratching on the upper body near the pickguard. Otherwise the usual scratches, dings, and swirl marks are present. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes the original hardshell case.
