A killer sounding and playing Les Paul at an approachable price point!
The Tribute series from Gibson captures all the core elements of the Gibson Les Paul, but in a more stripped-back form. Gone is the binding, gloss finish, and pearloid headstock logo. Fitted with a great sounding set of Gibsons 490R & T pickups in combination with a modern weight-relieved body, the Les Pul '50s Tribute is lightweight and resonant to boot. A 1950's-style neck is present, however this feels a little more shouldered and a little less rounded than what you'd expect. However, the satin finish on the back of the neck makes for an unobtrusive playing experience.
Sounds awesome plugged in with a nice balance between both pickups. Really roars when played through an amp with a good drive channel.
Cosmetically this example is in excellent condition, with only minor dings, scratches, and swirl marks present. Electronics appear original and untouched.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays great with a low action. Includes a gig bag.
