2017 was an interesting and exciting period for Gibson. In contrast to their Original series that launched in 2019, Gibson was a little more prone to experimentation and updating classic silhouettes with strictly modern appointments. This Les Paul Standard T comes equipped with a variety of modern features and specs which makes for an exceptional playing and sounding instrument.
The biggest stand out on these models, was the inclusion of Ultra-Modern weight relief, which essentially took out some of the wood from the body in select spots for weight relief. An Asymmetrical slim-taper neck profile, Grover locking tuners, and a beautifully voiced set of Burstbucker Pro pickups rounds out a complete, and effortless package.
This particular example is finished in a gorgeous and eye-catching Blueberry Burst finish, complete with a vibrant AAA flamed maple top. Playability and tone is superb, with the inclusion of coil-tapping and phase switching for maximum tonal variety.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes original hardshell case, uninstalled pickguard, and case candy.
