Cory Wong has quickly become a name synonymous with funk guitar, both through his work with Vulfpeck and as a solo artist. His signature Stratocaster with Fender delivers the funk and spank many have come to associate with Wong's unique playing style and musical approach.
Referencing the Highway One model Wong has been playing for many years, the Cory Wong model features a scaled down alder body finished in a transparent Sapphire Blue. The neck features a modern 'D' neck profile with a 10-14" compound radius. Fitted under the hood is a very crisp sounding pair of Wong's signature Seymour Duncan pickups. Other cool features include locking tuners, and a push/pull pot on the second 2 which bypasses the 5-way and only engages position 4.
Cosmetic condition is excellent with little to no wear present, and the plastic still on the pickguard. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes the original case and case candy.
