Perhaps one of, if not the greatest signature models Squier has produced, the J Mascis Jazzmaster combines the classic silhouette of the Jazzmaster with a variety of upgrades selected by J Mascis.
We've had a few of these models come through, and everytime we're impressed by the excellent build quality and great tones the J Mascis model delivers! This example dates to 2023, thus featuring a Laurel fingerboard as opposed to the pre-2018 rosewood fingerboard. Otherwise, all the same features are present including the adjusto-magic bridge, and specially designed Jazzmaster pickups (these in construction are really a fair bit closer to a P90). Has all those classic Jazzmaster features, but in an exceptionally great looking and affordable package.
Hardware is fully functional, and cosmetic condition is excellent throughout. Plays with a medium action. No gig bag or case included.
