Debuting in 1982, the S-500 was Leo's evolved concept of the S-style guitar. New developments included the Dual-Fulcrum™ vibrato and Magnetic Field Design, both of which Leo designed and implemented in this new guitar design!
This particular example is US made and based on its serial configuration appears to be from the 2000s. Finished in a great looking sunburst finish with an alder body and maple neck, and a nice balanced weight to beat. The original MFD pickups are present, and it appears that only a tone control has been swapped out at some stage.
Cosmetic condition is good with only minor scratches, dings, and swirl marks. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes the original hard shell case.
