A great sounding grand auditorium sized steel string from Eastman guitars!
Sized as a grand auditorium, these examples boasted sapele back and sides with a sitka spruce top. A mahogany neck with an unbound rosewood fretboard is present. Within the soundhole is a nicely understated Fishman pickup system, which really does an effective job of capturing this instruments resonance when plugged in.
This example has a tonne of clarity, with a very even and defined low and high end response. This one really excels at fingerpicking in particular, but sounds just as great with some strumming.
Interestingly, this example has some very noticeable checking present throughout the entire instrument. Nothing that impacts the structural integrity, however is interesting to see on an instrument that isn't super old.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes a gig bag.
