When he's not repairing instruments for us, Joel (our senior in-house technician) also makes incredible guitars under the name 'Wilcra'. The Komet 2T features hand-selected timbers such as Camphor Laurel for the body and Queensland Maple for the neck, resulting in an incredibly balanced, premium feeling instrument.
Utilising a thinly applied nitro finish, the Komet 2T is acoustically vibrant which is only further reinforced by a great sounding set of Gemini Guyatone-style goldfoil pickups. A 12" radius and 25.5" scale length makes for an instrument that is exceptionally playable.
