William Jeffrey Jones ‘Daemon Sassefrax’ (Second-Hand)

Renowned for his computer and gaming design, sculptor/artist/ceramicist William Jeffrey Jones has worked with a range of IPs ranging from Spawn to Battlestar Galactica. Taking with him a background in sculpturing, WJJ moved to hand crafting guitars which showcase not only incredible craftsmanship, but also dependable stability and tonal finesse. 

Presented with a stash of air-dried southern sassafras, WJJ crafted an incredibly light weight and resonant body finished in a lightly cherry-tinted Danish oil. An exceptional feeling , hand-cut cherry neck is present and features a compensated soft-V profile with dual-action truss rod. A 24-fret East Indian rosewood fretboard is present inlayed with mother of pearl dot inlays throughout. Coming in at a featherweight 2.7kg, this example feels incredibly balanced in hand and delivers exceptional acoustic and amplified resonance and sustain. A set of hand-wound P-90 pickups would by Clint Searcy of Searcy String Works are present, and in tandem with a simplified control layout, deliver a refined array of tones. Being reverse wound, these pickups create a humbucker effect in the middle position! Truly an extraordinary custom build. 

Cosmetic condition is excellent with little discernible play wear throughout. Hardware is fully functional and plays with a low-medium action. Includes its original TKL hardcase.
