Manufactured by German instrument maker, Framus, the Hollywood model features an exceptionally unique innovation in the form of a sliding pickup! Super simple straight forward mechanism, which allows for a wide variety of tones from the one pickup.
Finished in metallic gold, this example has aged graciously, acquiring super unique patina and checking wear throughout. The tuners and tailpiece are non-original, but have been replaced with period and model correct parts. Throaty and mid-focused unplugged, this example really shines plugged in, benefitted by a low-output and vastly characterful pickup.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays excellently with a low action. Includes the original 'picnic' hardcase.
