1960s Ace Tone Solid State Bass-6 Bass Amplifier Head

A funky pre-Roland example from Ace Tone!

Made in Japan by the brand Ace Tone (an early incarnation of Roland), this example was marketed as a bass amplifier head. With two inputs, volume, treble, and bass controls, this model has a 'unique' tone for an early solid state amp with push buttons for three different tone settings. It appears that some modifications have taken place on the back panel, specifically, the speaker output having been replaced. We tested this through an Aguilar cab at 4ohms which seemed to work just fine. 

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age, showing light signs of cosmetic wear to the tolex. Pots are a bit touchy with some crackle throughout, but otherwise hardware is fully functional.
