One of the iconic Chicago bluesmen, Hound Dog Taylor had a hugely influential (post death) career ranging from the '50s and up until his death in 1975. Of note, he could be seen playing something not too dis-similar to this particular model. This example is the Kingston S3T, manufactured by Japanese manufacturer Kawai. Does that classic funky, slightly janky Japanese thing to a tee. It appears to have potentially had the bridge replaced at some stage. A super cool '60s Japanese electric!
Cosmetically, this example shows the expected wear of an instrument of its age. There is checking present throughout and dings, scratches, and marks present throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Neck is straight with no tension on the truss rod. Could use a heavier gauge of strings to compensate for some of the rattle localised on the first few frets. No case or gig bag included.
