1960s Stagemaster Solid Body Sunburst

A strange yet very cool example from '60s Japan!

The world of '60s, Japanese-made guitars is truly a strange one. A variety of manufacturers across a massive amount of brand names were pumping out tonnes of models for both domestic and foreign markets, usually with extraordinarily unique designs. This particular example matches with a similar example found online under the 'Stagemaster' name. Based off the features of the model, it look as though it is of Kawai origin. Features a plywood body with bolt-on neck, as well as what appears to be original pickups and electronics. Plastic knobs don't appear original, with the remaining parts of the instrument up for contention! Sounds twangy and lo-fi, exactly what you'd want from one of these old Japanese-made guitars!

Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing medium finish wear in combination with dings, scratches, and play wear present all throughout. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case or gig bag included.
