Travel back in time to the mid-60s with this incredible, all-original Fender Coronado!

Hollow-body thinline electrics are our jam here, and this example does not disappoint. The Coronado was originally announced way back in 1965, being designed Roger Rossmeisl, who designed instruments for both Fender and Rickenbacker. Lending inspiration from the popularity of the Epiphone Casino (due in no small part to The Beatles), the Coronado emerged as Fenders thinline, hollow-body offering. Featuring two Dearmond single coil pickups and a bolt on neck construction, the Coronado delivered plenty of top end jangle, and found use both in the '60s and then revitalised in the 2000s amongst a variety of indie artists.

This particular example is one of the cleanest Coronados for sale currently for sale world-wide, it is all original, and in excellent, near-mint condition. Very little wear is present throughout, with all hardware and electronics being original to the instrument. Even the string mute is still here, which can be hard to find on original examples. Currently strung up with flatwounds, this example goes from warm jazzy tones, to indie sleaze at the flick of a toggle switch. A super fun and inspiring instrument to play!

Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Includes the original Victoria hardshell case.
