1970s Aria AD-35 Dreadnought
$650.00
A lovely lawsuit-era dreadnought from Aria!
One of the cool brands to be produced in the fabled Matsumoku factory in Japan, this example is an AD-35 model and appears to have been produced sometime around the mid-late 1970s. Features a solid spruce top with what appears to be rosewood back and sides. A mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard are present. In keeping with these times, this example features the classic Martin headstock shape with lettering designed to impersonate the brand at the time. Has a nice and punchy sound with plenty of articulation and great mid-range clarification!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age with the expected play wear of an instrument of its age. There is an outline in the finish of where a pickguard would have been. There are some more noticeable dings on the face of the headstock. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. Includes an ABS hardcase.
