A truly stunning example of a Norlin era Les Paul Deluxe in cherry sunburst, sporting the classic, early 1970s stamped mini humbuckers. As standard for the Norlin era, this example sits in the expected weight range of approximately 4.5kg (10 pounds). Acoustically resonate unplugged, this Les Paul absolutely comes to life when turned up LOUD.
The Gibson-stamped mini humbuckers provide plenty of mid-range bite, with a good helping of clarity and articulation. Missing the original pickguard but otherwise all original.
Hardware is all functional, with the only predominantly noticeable damage being a chip on the back of the left horn of the headstock as well as a moved strap pin (see photo).
These guitars are getting harder and harder to get and the prices are climbing of good 1970s Gibsons, so this is a fantastic way to get into the vintage Gibson game while you still can!
Included is the original hardshell case.
