A killer, early SG model from Yamaha!
Old Yamaha electric instruments are some of the most sturdy and value-loaded vintage guitars on the market, with this example from 1974 blowing our socks off! Composed of a Katsura body in combination with a set mahogany neck and rosewood fretboard, this example has excellent sustain and resonance which is only further aided by its set of original humbuckers. Other noteworthy features include nylon saddles at the bridge as well as a 12" fretboard radius, and 24 3/4" scale length. A great player from one of the iconic Japanese manufacturers!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing wear throughout in the form of minor scratches, dings, pick marks, and hardware corrosion. Two plastic knobs have been re-glued and are now structurally stable. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes a Yamaha acoustic gig bag.
