A straight ahead monophonic synthesizer from Rolands glory days!

The SH series from Roland has produced a variety of instant classics, with the SH-09 serving as one of its more stripped back and straight ahead product offerings. Manufactured between 1978 and 1982, this example dates to 1980. A single oscillator monophonic synth, the SH-09 features PWM, ramp, square, and noise waveforms. Features quite a nice sounding VCF with a sample-hold function to round things out. An external input is featured, which means you can control external sound sources with the VCF that's featured onboard the SH-09. A perfect synth for those dipping their toes into vintage analog synthesis.

Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with minor chassis wear and light discolouration of the keys. Hardware and electronics are fully functional.

*Please note this example is rated at 110 volts and will require a step-down transformer*
