A great Sada from 1981!
Sadao Yairi, a famous name in Japanese luthier circles, was responsible for the output of a wide variety of guitars within the Japanese market. Acclaimed for their high level of build quality, this example dating to 1981 is a great example of Yairis classical craftsmanship. This particular example is the G10 model which was an introductory model within this particular lineup. Thanks to 40+ years, this example has opened up remarkably and sounds fairly mid-honky in contrast to many other Japanese builds.
Cosmetic condition is reasonable, with wear present all throughout. Binding appears to have come away on the treble side of the instrument, however it does not appear to affect the structural stability of the instrument. There is a noticeable ding on the back of the neck, and what appear to like paint scuffs in a few places. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. No case or gig bag included.
