Produced in 1984 and featuring a JV-serial number, this example represents the golden era of Squiers produced during the early 1980s. Composed of a basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this example features a slim neck profile with a vintage-correct 7.25" fretboard radius. Features the original ceramic pickups and delivers an excellent sound with great chime and brilliance. When folks discuss great Japanese manufacturing, this is what they are referring to!
Cosmetic condition is good for its age, showing some light scratching as well as dings and indentations present throughout the front, back, and sides of the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes a leather brown gig bag.
