A-serial Japanese Fenders are highly renowned for their excellent build quality and vintage specs. This example from 1985 is a reissue of the '62 Telecaster Custom, complete with double binding.
These examples boast a slab rosewood board, a 1 5/8" nut width, as well as the traditional 7.25" fingerboard radius. Excellent weight in hand, this example is super acoustically resonant and sounds amazing plugged in. Really rounded low-end, and smoothed out highs and mids, making for a really enjoyable tonal experience.
Cosmetic condition is excellent with only minor scratching throughout. The original 3-way selector ceased functioning in the bridge position, and has been replaced with an aftermarket part. The original is included. Hardware is fully functional, and plays excellently with a low action. Includes a hard case.
