1995 PRS McCarty Standard Sunburst

A gorgeous player from PRS!

The McCarty is without a doubt one of our favourite offerings within PRS' catalogue, highlighting the companies superb build quality with minor vintage-inspired touches that make the model effortlessly appealing. This particular example is the McCarty Standard model, dating by its serial number to 1995. Finished in sunburst, these examples are composed of a mahogany body, flamed maple top, mahogany neck, and rosewood board. Featuring 22 frets and a beautifully rounded and full neck profile, these examples also feature more traditional tuners as opposed to the looking tuners commonly found on Custom 22s. A wraparound, stop tail bride is present and operates in great contrast with regards to intonation compared against the stoptail of yesteryear. Under the covers is a great sounding pair of pickups, in the form of a McCarty Bass and Treble. A beautiful instrument, and most importantly, a great player!

Cosmetic condition is good showing evidence of play wear throughout. The top shows minor dings and scratches throughout, as well as scratching to the back of the body and some more noticeable wear on the back, side of the instrument near the strap pin. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. No case or gig bag included.
