1999 Takamine FD400S 12-String Dreadnought Natural

A 12-string beauty from Takamine!

One of the most well regarded names in mass acoustic manufacturing, Takamine have made some seriously impressive examples over the years. This particular model, dating to 1999, is the FD400S. Manufactured in Japan and featuring a solid sitka spruce top in combination with rosewood back and sides, this example is exceptionally punchy and resonant. Beautiful wooden inlays adorn the fretboard. Comes equipped with the factory Takamine AD-1 pickup system. One bridge pin appears to have been replaced. A truly gorgeous example from Takamine!

Cosmetic condition is very good, showing only light signs of play wear in the form of scratches and scuffs, primarily located on the back of the body and side of the instrument, treble side. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium-high action. Includes an SKB hard case.
