American vintage vibes, straight from '75!
This 2006 Fender American Vintage '75 Jazz Bass is made in the USA and captures a pivotal moment in Jazz Bass history. The mid-70s saw Fender rework the neck shape, add bound fingerboards with block inlays, and shift the bridge pickup closer to the bridge for a punchier tone, several of which are faithfully reproduced here. This example has a solid ash body finished in Natural, paired with a maple neck featuring black binding and black block inlays, a bullet truss rod, and a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment. A pair of '75-spec single-coil Jazz Bass pickups and chrome hardware round out the vintage-correct spec, the same Natural-finish, maple-necked recipe that's made this era of Jazz Bass a favourite of players like Marcus Miller. A genuinely characterful bass with plenty of vibe.
Condition: Graded Excellent. Cosmetically, the bass shows only minor scratches, consistent with light use and careful ownership. Hardware and electronics are all original and fully functioning as they should.
Includes the original black case with papers, vintage-style cable, strap, and the bridge and pickup covers.
