A limited edition signature model from the late and immensely great, Chris Cornell!
Recognisable for his incredible vocal ability, songwriting, and killer guitar chops, Chris Cornell saw great success both with Soundgarden and his solo work before his tragic passing in 2017. Some years prior, Cornell and Gibson collaborated on this signature model. This initial release, finished in satin black and limited to 250 models, is a must have for Chris Cornell fans or Gibson collectors. Featuring the standard ES-335 appointments, the Chris Cornell model notably features a pair of excellent sounding Lollar'Tron pickups, as well as clear VVTT controls. In contrast to the later, less limited release, these feature a standard stoptail as opposed to a Bigsby. An example of immense character and collectability! This example is number 237.
Cosmetic condition is good with some minor finish wear on the back of the neck, rubbing where the right arms rests on the lower body, and some minor splitting on three out of four of the VVTT control plastics. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. Includes the original hard case and COA.
